Who we are
The Foreign Trade Association (FTA) is the association of European and International commerce that represents and defends the value of free and sustainable trade. It brings together hundreds of retailers, importers, brand companies, and national associations to improve the political and legal framework for trade in a sustainable way.
What we do
- We promote the foreign trade interests of European and international retailers and importers.
- We influence the political and legislative process at the earliest stage.
- We raise awareness about the implications of decisions and policies taken at EU and international level (eg. WTO) on international trade.
- We maintain a unique platform to share ideas, best practices and define common policy and lobbying strategies.
