To participate in the International Trade Policy Services, you need to become member of the Foreign Trade Association. More information about the benefits of being a member of the FTA is available here.
There are two forms of membership in the FTA:
- Ordinary member: There are two types of ordinary members (I) companies with commercial and related trade activities worldwide and (II) trade associations. Ordinary members have full membership rights and are able to vote in the FTA General Assembly.
- Associate member: Any other organisation or natural persons who do not meet the criteria of ordinary members but support the goals of FTA[1]. Associate members have limited membership rights, which means they cannot vote in the FTA General Assembly.
[1] The FTA by-laws stipulate that companies whose main activity is manufacturing in defined risk countries are not eligible for any kind of FTA membership. See the list of risk countries.
To join the Foreign Trade Association, you need to make an application for approval by the FTA Board of Directors. Applications can be done via an online registration system.
If you have questions or are interested to know more about membership opportunities for your company or association, please contact info@fta-intl.org. Our member relation team will be glad to help you.
