31.01.2012: FTA Regional Conference in France
On 31 January 2012, the FTA organises its next Regional Conference in Lille, France. The aim is to discuss subjects related to international trade policies with French FTA-members and other interested companies. The proposed agenda will feature the following subjects:
The participation fee is 65 euro for members and 90 euro for non-members. The event will be held in French.

- Dematerialisation (electronic customs) – EU Commission / DG Taxud A.1
- Revision of customs laws – EU Commission/ DG TaxudA.5
- AEO – French customs/DGDD1
- Antidumping – how to reclaim your rights (lawyer)

21.03.2012: FTA Committee meetings in Brussels
The FTA Committee meetings offer an excellent chance to hear the latest news on various issues that are important to business.
On 21 and 22 March, the FTA will host its Committee Meetings at the Brussels office. As usual, the subjects will treat legal issues (Cevad Opinion, counterfeit products, shoe case); Custom-related issues (Turkish safeguard measures, Treaty violation) and Trade policy issues (Bilateral agreements, Russia in WTO, Biocides). A more elaborate agenda together with an official invitation will be sent later.

Einmal jährlich wird in Hong Kong das Prime Source Forum durchgeführt. Dabei kommen Führungskräfte aus der ganzen Welt zusammen, um Herausforderungen und Chancen für Hersteller, Lieferanten und Einzelhändler, die in die Produktion und den Verkauf von Bekleidung / Textilien involviert sind, zu besprechen. FTA ist ein Veranstaltungspartner dieses internationalen Forums, das Networkingmoeglichkeiten fuer Teilnehmer anbietet sowie erfahrenen Referenten, die den Ideenaustausch zwischen Teilnehmern foerdern im Hinblick auf gemeinsame wissenschaftliche Interessen.
